SexlifeYou build a paper airplane Folding, carefully creasing Until it takes graceful shape.Sexlife
Holding it so very gently, You hope for an exciting journey And give it a push.
But rather than soaring toward Something beautiful it plummets And crumples on the dirty ground.
So you build another.

Motorcycle DiaryMy jacket hangs loose piled in folds My second skin my armor windbreaker Life is off of the rails and screaming Down a road that will reach up and Strip you of everything you are Everything you could be it Enlivens me to fly inches above On the curves holding with My knees and my soul like it was Always meant to be Man was Made to create that which God Only dreamed and he excels At acceleration.Motorcycle Diary

SoapWhat are you watching? asked Rose, peering over the Doctor's shoulder at the monitor.Soap
The Doctor shrugged. 'S not bad, he said, it's sort of a deep-space soap opera.
Yeah? said Rose, sitting down beside him, What's the story then?
He squinted a bit, thinking of how to explain, From what I can tell, that purple blob over there is, pregnant? Expecting offspring anyway, and that one, the orange fuzzy one, she thinks that's the father, only it's not because it was his twin brother what snogged her when she was drunk and d

Desert ThoughtsThe windows are down, wind in her hair Fluttering fluttering, can the world hear Her heart as she races toward the sunset? Beatles cassette is dying but the new life Is just over the horizon, always retreating, Fleeting hopes and dreams blow like Tumbleweeds on the empty road. The evening sky is blood and peaches, Red at night, she sighs, is sailors delight Adventure rushes in her veins, her brain. When she reaches the ocean, will she swim Or will the momentum catch and crush? Heart-break rushing up to cradle her She runs, it's all that's left, these empty DayDesert Thoughts

Mind the Gap - Part Three-"There is something terribly wrong here," said the Doctor as he and Rose searched the empty streets of London, "'S not like everyone's gone on holiday, is it?"Mind the Gap - Part Three-
"You think this is weird," said Rose, "When I was in the flat, it was Christmas. And Mum didn't seem to know who you were..."
"Well, that last bit doesn't sound so bad," he replied jauntily, "if she doesn't know me, she can't harp on at me."
"Didn't even know who Egan is..."
"Ah, yes, of course, Egan!" The Doctor paused a moment, "Who is Egan?"
"Guess you wouldn't know, 'cause you haven't met him, but--" It was

Mind the Gap -Part Two-It was Christmas Eve. The tree was sparkly and tinsely like Mum liked. The presents were wrapped and everyone was smiling. Outside it was just getting dark and it had been snowing all day. London looked just like a idyllic Christmas card. Dad had made his gross, healthy-drink eggnog and they were pretending they liked it. It tasted of seaweed, rose hips and of course, egg...Mind the Gap -Part Two-
Mickey would be up in a bit and her mum would complain of him hanging around like it always was. Rose felt quite at ease, the only worry on her mind was perhaps Mickey wouldn't like

Mind the Gap -Part One-Rose felt like she was growing up. The pain of being away from the Doctor had not gone away, in fact, sometimes it was worse than ever, but she'd learned to hide it better. She had Mickey and Mum and Dad and the baby to think about and, not wanting them to worry over something that could never be fixed, she tried her best to be cheerful.Mind the Gap -Part One-
Something that could never be fixed. Given everything she'd seen the Doctor do, it was hard to believe, but as he'd said, travel between dimensions was supposed to be impossible, and for all intents and purposes, it was. She knew, she'd looked.
